Summary
Izuku, six years old and the son of the most powerful man in Japan, trusts his his uncle implicitly. Why wouldn't he, when they've always been so close? When Izuku's father trusts him implicitly too?
Of course he agrees, enthusiastically, when his uncle offers to take him camping by the lake. When he tells him to ignore the fact that they haven't brought a tent. When he asks Izuku to wade, bit by bit, up to his chin in the water.
When he informs him he's going to hold him under.
Or: Izuku was six years old, the year his uncle tried to drown him. He's still not certain he's forgiven him for it. But now, fifteen years later and having spent an adolescence in the shadow of his father, he thinks he understands.

Summary
In an alternate universe, Todoroki Touya never turned into Dabi. How could he, when he passed away that fateful day at Sekoto Peak?
However, that wasn't the end of his tale. Not when he had enough spite and stubbornness to will himself into a ghost.
Things went relatively well for him (or as well as it could, considering that he was a ghost and all), up until a minor altercation with a seemingly normal human which turned him back into a human.
Suddenly faced with the prospect of having to eat, sleep and communicate with other human beings to survive, Touya would have to learn how to be human again, all the while trying to overcome his struggles from his previous life.
After all, the past never forgets.

He found himself looking forward to their games, until one day, he got a shocking realization that Green was not only a child, but a bullied one, and suddenly he had someone to protect.
And if he taught the child how to take over the world in the process, well, he was Nedzu, after all.

Genuinely a good fic, I kind of want to re-look at this at some points to look at the psychological things that were dropped in it
