It's funny how seemingly small choices can shift your entire life. One stray move or turn and your world can shift drastically. If Ororon had decided to stay somewhere else that day, would he have even found her? Would he have been home in time to catch the iktomitsaur that came to get him? What if they had to wait until he came back, and he was too late?
Whatever the case, thinking about the what-ifs won't help anything. He was home when the iktomisaur came for him. He was the one who found her. He chose to keep her and love her, rather than letting her live a life similar to his own. She was here and she was his to care for.
His little Aurora. Or Rora for short. If he had the chance to go back, he wouldn't change a thing. Because everything led to this moment, making this choice. He would never regret this. Never regret her.
