Something snaps her out of her thoughts. At first she isn’t sure what it is. Her brow furrows, and she takes a second look. There, walking down the pathway. She can’t see their face, only their back but Vera knows that walk. She would know that purposeful, confident stride anywhere. It’s toned down, a muted expression of what it could be and still Vera is undeniably reminded of her former boss and current wanted fugitive Joan Ferguson.
Grace makes a noise in her sleep and Vera’s attention is pulled toward her baby. Only a second. When she looks back up, all's right with the world and the sun is shining. No sign of any hooded stranger.
Vera shakes it off. Puts it down to her exhausted mind playing tricks on her. Joan Ferguson is dead. Will had shown them her body.
She’s dead and the game they’d played between them for so long finally rests alongside her.
AU: What if Joan never lost her memory? Never ended up back at Wentworth?

What could go wrong with marrying some you've known for 1 day! The Prince is used to having everything his way. The more I thought about it, the more I think a situation like this would happen. I know Cinderella is a fairy tale, but people shouldn't get married after knowing each other all of 4 hours!

It's Christmas at Wentworth and Vera wants to liven up the prison by playing Christmas music, perhaps she can get what she's wanted for so long. Joan Ferguson, the feelings were to much for her to handle somedays but she kept it together most days. God damn it Linda has bad timing though.
