Summary
Andrew did not want to move to Palmetto, but with the offering of a physician position for Aaron and the opportunity to get out of their Uncle's town, they make the trek. Colonized by the Moriyamas and made home base for the second son Riko, the small town of Palmetto, Ireland is expanding, cutting into the forest to make room for farmland.
But the forest is not all that it seems, and Andrew begins to glimpse shining blue eyes and hear the howls of wolves ringing across the fields. As his family makes new friends and enemies within Palmetto, Andrew will discover the secrets of the forest, and perhaps even become one of those secrets himself.
