Zabini’s laugh broke free this time, rich and surprisingly unrestrained. “Only you, Potter, could find chasing down Dark wizards boring.”

Summary
And he’s tired. His classes pass by in a haze, the food tastes like nothing and turns into ash in his mouth, his friends’ words sound odd and distant. Maybe he is truly dead; Voldemort killed him instead of Cedric that night and he’s just hallucinating, his last minutes that feel like an eternity before his brain completely shuts and there’s nothing but void, welcoming and endless.
He desperately, selfishly hopes it’s that.
But it’s not, and a particular scene that happened the exact day they arrived at Hogwarts proved to him that he’s alive; more so than he thinks he is.

I’ve been seeing lots of other authors have to do this and didn’t think we would ever get to this point: I do not use AI to write my fics, neither should you. Just get a spell checker, most of them give you options on how to reword entire sentences. Some free some not. Pirate a spell checker even idc. Make your own art or don’t make any at all. AI stands for Almost Intelligent (yes thats a The Pitt quote)
