Summary
Silence isn't always safe.
An explosion deep within the Hollow alters Wise's relationship with the world, drawing Lighter into an unexpected connection. But there was something they didn't know. Some events weren't accidental; they were the cry of suppressed emotions. On that night, where words faded into the background and touch and feeling shone, they had only one question: What had caused this?
"Hollow is singing," Lighter murmured to himself.
"What?"
“Doesn’t your ear ring too? I’m not sure if I’m hearing things that aren’t there because of the silence. Maybe—”
Before he could finish the sentence, his attention shifted to Wise. He had his eyes closed, eyebrows furrowed in thought, carefully listening to his surroundings.
"You look so attractive when you're thoughtful."
