Summary
Not even bothering to prepare for an ambush, not quite sure if it was because of his ability or because he would just hand himself over without a fight, he went up to curtains blocking the view. Unfortunately, there wasn't a magical fairy willing to grant his wish nor a group of killers about to end his misery waiting outside. It was a lanky, bandaged freak clinging to the window like an octopus - with his hands and cheek squished against the glass. Chuuya abruptly closed his curtains again, turning back to his couch in denial of seeing his ex-partner on his balcony.
How did he even end up there? Never mind, he thought, that was clearly just a hallucination. Nope. Not gonna entertain him today.
"Chuuya~"
Auditory hallucinations surely are getting better quality nowadays.
or: Dazai takes Chuuya on a car trip for them to run away from their responsibilities. Even for one night.

Summary
A sound asleep Chuuya was curled up at its centre, red tail wrapped around himself, whiskers flickering every time he twisted his very cat-like nose in his slumber. He was in the middle of what looked like an honest to fuck nest, made up with Dazai's blankets and pillows and- were those his fucking clothes under Chuuya's... hands? Paws? What the hell?!
Dazai swallowed, and flexed his hands to stop himself from reaching out: Chuuya's hair looked softer than usual, his hat probably discarded straight away back at the enemy base, his pointy ears covered in short, orangey fur.
Chuuya yawned deeply, pointy teeth bared for the briefest second, and then blinked awake. Wide, blue cat eyes found Dazai' shocked ones, and he tilted his head a bit.
“Mraow?”
(Or, Chuuya gets changed into a human cat and decides to make it Dazai's problem. Dazai might not survive it.)
