This time, it’s Mingi’s turn to blink. “Wait, really?”
Yunho nods innocently, his bangs bouncing across his forehead with the gesture. “Mhm.”
That night, Mingi thinks long and hard about it. By morning time, he still doesn’t have an explanation for why he’s so… unenthusiastic about this new change. It really should not have been anything. It shouldn’t have been anything at all.

“Yunho told me to come up with twenty seven birthday wishes,” he explained in a soft, quiet voice. “One wish for every year of my life. I have written down everything I can think of except for the very last one. I just cannot seem to think of anything else I could possibly want."
Wooyoung scanned the list quickly with his eyes, “Is that really everything you can think of? You’re dating Yunho, and you really cannot think of just one more thing you want? Come on, Mingi. You know exactly what is missing from that list of yours.”
Mingi tilted his head to the side, thoroughly confused. “What do you mean? I thought I wrote down absolutely everything I could ever possibly want.”
“Add that you want him to spend the night with you. In every single way you have ever imagined or wanted. A special birthday night just for the two of you. That is the perfect twenty seventh wish, princess.”

“If you can call it a fight…We are simply not speaking to each other.”
“What happened, Mingi?” San asked him, looking at him with worried eyes.
“I… kinda asked him out? But of course it wasn't mutual...”
“Oh, Minnie..." Seonghwa muttered, dragging his eyebrows together into an understanding frown. "And somehow that’s not everything that’s going on, am I right?”
That was an understatement. Mingi sighed.
“Our boss has signed us—Yunho and I—for that one variety show that’s trending lately, ‘Your nightmares come true’ or something like that…"
“Shit…” San’s eyes went comically wide. “No fucking way... Is boss really sending you to a fucking haunted house?!"
He groaned out loud. "Guys, I'm so fucked."

Yunho and Mingi had a fight... but then they get put into a group on a variety show and they need to get through a haunted house. Tension arises and feelings get complicated, but in the end, they still are madly in love with each other.
They just need to talk it out—and maybe also fuck it out.
