Zanka has the patience of a saint—or so has said Riyo whenever she likes to put it to the test.
But right now it is starting to prove how wrong the statement was.
“What?” Zanka scoffs, an alarming expression is shown on his face, “Please, repeat that?”
“Jabber Wonger is joining The Cleaners starting today,” Corvus repeats with all the seriousness in the world, not a hint of humor nor sarcasm is shown, “He’s going under the vigilance and tutelage of Team Akuta.”
Jabber joins the cleaners for reasons Zanka doesn't really want to know.

Summary
The last thing Giyū saw was the horrible creature known as Muzan crawling away to another part of their quickly crumbling world, taking the hashira who could still fight with him, and the bodies of those who no longer couldn't, behind him. Giyū was the latter, trying to stand up even through the sea of blood at his feet. He was dying.
Why was this happening? Wasn't the slayer mark supposed to boost his survival?
Turns out, it did. Maybe a little too well.
Fate had once again chosen the wrong person to save, Giyū thought, back in his thirteen year old body, staring at his dead childhood friend right in the face. Tanjiro would have been so much better at time travel.

Summary
Giyuu's anger wasn't enough to do anything with, not anymore. He'd burned himself out at such a young age. All that was left was ash.
Genya seemed like him. His anger was fear, a shield he used. It wasn't his core like his brother and the other hashira who had tried to help him.
Maybe, just maybe, that would be enough for Giyuu to make a difference where they hadn't.
Or: Genya becomes Giyuu's tsugoku. Sanemi does not approve.
