George whipped his head around to stare at him, his eyes clear. “What?”
Dream froze, his own half-asleep haze melting away as surprise etched its way through his veins.
“Oh, hey, George.” He tried to sound casual as heat rose to his face and his ears burned scarlet. “Sorry, I thought you were sleepwalking.”
“You thought I was what?”

Summary
“You’re so stupid,” George says after his breathing has calmed down, and he feels it when Dream chuckles. His shoulder rubs against George’s, and his breath hits his hair, and Dream turns and suddenly he’s so much closer. George almost wants to make a run for it.
"How am I stupid? You couldn’t– you were about to ruin my eardrums a second ago!”
"You were the one who fell on top of me! I was about to die. You’re a murderer,” George argues, feeling warm all over.
Dream huffs. “You’re so dramatic. I didn’t actually kill you.”George arrives to Florida, and Dream is more than happy to blur the lines between them.

“Out of all the books I read this summer, I think Pride & Prejudice was my favorite.” His cheeks were now bright red, a bashful look covering his face. “I guess I am kind of a sucker for a good love story.” George didn't laugh like Dream thought he would, instead he picked it out of the pile and admired the cover, running the pages through his fingers.
“I haven’t read it.” He said softly, still flipping through the pages admiring the pen marks and folded corners Dream had left. “Can I borrow it?”
“Yeah, of course.”
Or, George and Dream become neighbours, and get to know each other over the week before school starts.
