"Wow. Keep that up and you're gonna be a real ladykiller one day," Akira says with a chuckle and goes back to his task of merging his face with Goro's shoulder.
Goro frowns.
He wants to say, I’m not into girls. But then he thinks about all the years that have passed and comes to the conclusion that he's not really into boys either.
He just likes Akira. That's all.

Goro doesn’t even get a chance to complain before Kurusu is sliding an arm around his back and beneath his knees. He’s immediately greeted by a wave of pain that outclasses all the others before, a kind of pain that makes him feel as if his entire body is breaking in two. Makes him think: fuck, maybe it actually is.
He grits his teeth. “Joker, stop.”
Kurusu instantly freezes, meeting his eyes with clear alarm.
“What’s wrong?”
“I think my hip might be broken.”

There's still time until they have to meet Maruki's deadline, so Akira decides to kidnap Goro into going on a road trip with him. Everything goes as you would expect.

There was an unpleasant pause, as if the demon was waiting for more after such a demand. Eventually he gave in, rolling his shoulders back as if warming up for something physical.
“Easy enough--” Akira sniffed.
Goro did not flinch; only stared back with a newfound fire that challenged those catty yellow eyes. “My father is the king of this crooked kingdom.”
“Ah,” He paused. “I see why I have been summoned, then.”
