Summary
Nine years after the end of the 100 Year War, Zuko and Katara have built something strong. Their romantic relationship was forged by trust, friendship and genuine connection. Zuko as Fire Lord has created real change in the world and in his nation, and Katara has made a name for herself as a world class healer and master waterbender.
When a coordinated threat emerges with the intention to take the Fire Lord's life, Zuko and Katara believe that they will be able to handle it, that there isn't anything life can throw at them that they can't get through. But what happens when the threat becomes too calculated, too strategic? What do they do if it's coming from inside the palace walls, threatening to tear down everything they've carefully constructed bit by bit?
