That was the last time he ever saw her.

Since elementary school, Hiro and Veronika were the best of friends. But during the summer in between sixth and seventh grade, Veronika mysteriously disappears from Hiro’s life without so much as a trace. Hiro doesn’t know anything of her whereabouts until the start of his final year of high school, when Veronika one day shows up in his class out of the blue. Feeling that he’s been given a second chance, Hiro focuses his efforts on growing close with Veronika once more, and grows even closer to her by the day.
It’s said that absence makes the heart grow fonder…so as the matters of their hearts are gradually awakened, the deep cephalo-bond between an Inkling girl and an Octoling boy slowly falls underway to be reshaped completely.
