Summary
Chuuya leans back on his heels and smiles, all teeth and menace, “Dazai, don’t try and pretend you were worried.” His fingers are itching and bare, and he suddenly wishes he had the protective barrier of leather between himself and the world. “Don’t pull the nice guy act with me, it makes me sick.”
Something about Chuuya’s words makes Dazai’s jaw clench. Chuuya has always been the brawn in their partnership, but Dazai has never been weak, and when he takes Chuuya by surprise, it shows. Chuuya inhales sharply when he ends up slammed against the alley wall, Dazai’s fist bunched in the front of his shirt. “I’m not being nice,” Dazai’s lips are snarling next to his ear, his frame is caging Chuuya in, and Chuuya’s throat is suddenly dry. “I’m telling you that you’re being pathetic.”
(in which Dazai and Chuuya have lots of sexual tension, and very poor communication skills)

Summary
Sixteen women have been killed by a vicious serial killer haunting Yokohama’s streets.
Dazai has been chosen to become a part of the elite Bloody Valentine Task Force, even if he personally thinks that it’d be a lot more fun to stay at home with his boyfriend. Especially since it took years to convince Chuuya to finally move in with him.
It’s just a coincidence that Chuuya’s agreed to move in with him the moment he’s been chosen to become a part of the Task Force, right?
