Summary
"Oh, hold me like a baby
That will not fall asleep
Curl me up inside you
And let me hear you through the heat"
-Suzanne Vega, "Gypsy"“This moment will just be another story someday.”
-Stephen Chbosky, "The Perks of Being a Windflower"* * *
This is a somewhat long ABO fic that'll go through John's first pregnancy in 1964 to their settlement as a "big happy family" in the 70s, passing through a shitload of the canon drama and angst of the late 60s adapted to fit the story. TW: I went off rails with the amount of angst, but I swear it was necessary in order to really address the therapy they needed before settling as a happy marriage. I'm now officially a psychologist so please believe me.

Summary
Paul rides John for the first time. But as things are, he will not relinquish control, being the dominant freak he is, and John finds himself in a situation he will never regret. He basically gets fucked by Paul – because technicalities don’t apply when you sleep with a sex god.

“And my brain is like an orchestra
Playing on, insane
Will you love me like you loved me in the January rain?”
-Big Thief, “Mary”«”What does it mean, then, to be soulmates?”
John stared at him for a minute, taken by surprise.
“Do you really need words?”
Funny thing to say, that, coming from the poet. Paul had always been the wordless one, melody freak. Then again, their joint hands did have something of a poem grasped between them. Maybe they were the poem. John would know.» -

Summary
«…And now he was alone by choice, again, on the day of his birthday. It had been a lifetime since he’d had a birthday cake, but this time around he decided the number 80 deserved a special treat. One he’d been postponing long enough.
He was craving gunpowder.
How poetic.»In a world in which John lived and Paul died, John decides that 2020 will be his last year on Earth. He doesn't care to continue to live wishing he'd been the one to receive the bullet.
On a separate, alternative world, John has been dead for 40 years, while Paul still lives. In Paul's case, though, his death is not planned.Brenda, the worlds-watcher, knows it. But she's a fangirl. And she hates the ending of the story, so she decides to plan a happy ending for John. He'll just have to convince Paul to live another 40 years with him first.

But I got fading roots"

This is an agsty short songfic of Paul, based on a 1963 interview the boys did with Ken Dodd in which they were asked about their parents and it got weird and sad.
