Summary
His chest burned, abdomen tight and stinging with exertion. He could hardly feel his legs anymore, but all he knew was that he couldn’t stop. No matter how much it hurt, now matter how tired he was.
Behind him, a raving horde of Black Arms aliens screeched and bellowed, swarming over his tracks in the sand. They were everywhere, and all of them were after him. He didn’t know what exactly he’d done to draw so much attention to himself, but it seemed that his personal entourage had no intentions of letting him go. He could outrun one group only to crash directly into the next.
The continent was crawling with them, there was nowhere to hide. All he could do was run.
