An AU where Beth suspects that her husband is having an affair, and one of her friends, Rhea, tells her that her ex is a PI and he's very good at his job, he could help her, free of charge. And the last thing she expects is to find him so attractive, and he seems to feel the same?? And then he finds out that Dean cheated on her with his secretary, and she is furious, but she also wants to sleep with Rio ( because what's the point of staying loyal to her shitty husband?). But Rio rejects her ( she's not the first client who wants to sleep with him after they discovered the truth about their spouses) and she thinks she misinterpreted everything and he hates her. In the meantime Rhea thinks they are both idiots and she would try to fix things between them ( and she tells everything to her girlfriend, Diane).
