But what happens when the sun sets. When the sun has been burning itself out on the inside, and no one notices.
What happens when James is weighed down by struggles he can't share with the friends he helps carry struggles for.
But the sun is never alone. Even when he is scared and struggling and doesn't feel good enough for anything.
He is never really alone.
Someone sees the sun getting too hot, burning itself out, hiding itself in the horizon to heal in preparation for the next day.

This is, you guessed it, All the Young Dudes, but told from the perspective of James and Lily. It follows them through their years in Hogwarts. However, I am changing a few thing just to give the girls a little more personality because they are queens, and they deserve it. I am also adding in some Dorlene because I love them, but that won't come until later. This work is based on another work called All the Young Dudes that is fantastic and if you haven't read it, you totally should. I am also going to try to keep this work compliant with the work written from Sirius' perspective as well, but I will probably make mistakes.

Summary
The four-by-four heaves its way down long, twisting lanes, little more than dirt tracks scuffed into the surrounding fields and hemmed in by serpentine walls of flat, grey stone. They truly are in the middle of nowhere: the countryside rushes past, all rolling green hills and vast, endless skies, and it's odious. Sirius wants to murder James with his bare hands.
Sirius and James accidentally find themselves on a Yorkshire farm during lambing season. The farmer’s son thinks that’s a bit annoying, actually.
