Summary
There's talk of a secret level in Super Mario World. One that features a lore changing reveal of Luigi being a traitor. However, the guy who discovered it didn't seem to take into account what'd happen if you played it as Luigi himself. Using some save editing, I decided to play this level as Luigi.
What I found revealed the true story.

One second, Sumire is sure she's dead.

She wasn't sure how or why, but getting flung back to last April wasn't part of the plan.
