“Are you alright, Prince?” Dunk asks softly, noting how tense he holds himself.

“What do you think?” He asks, but it lacks the bite Dunk thinks its supposed to have, “I'm wounded and in pain, and some half-breed mutt has sent me into a spontaneous heat in front of this entire backwater town.”

    Summary

It’s 2026. Duncan Tall has become Duncan Tall-Targaryen through marriage, and has just finished enjoying his wedding night with his husband, Aerion Targaryen.

But the next morning, Dunk doesn’t wake up with his adorable husband sprawled on top of him.

No. Dunk wakes up in a field in the middle of nowhere, with three horses he doesn’t recognize, and a sword he has no idea how to use.

When Dunk—Ser Duncan the Tall now—goes on a mission to find said husband, he finds himself in a small town called Ashford Meadow, where there’s a tourney for the hand of the one and only… Prince Aerion Targaryen.

Or: Dunk and Aerion accidentally wake up in another world. Too bad that Aerion doesn’t remember anything from his other life. But when Dunk tries to convince him of the truth, he finds that the customs of this so-called ‘Westeros’ are different from those he’s used to.

Men cannot love men, and the tourney for Aerion’s hand isn’t for the knight himself, but instead, for the Lady of the knight’s choosing.

Dunk ignores these homophobic rules and does the only thing he can: competes for himself.

    Summary

A pinch to his cheek caused the expected pain, which meant this wasn’t a dream. Somehow, by some magic or the will of bored gods, perhaps, he was young again. And – based on the chaise in the corner, one he had disposed of shortly before his seven and tenth name day – he was displaced in time, not just youthfully renewed by previously unknown, groundbreaking cosmetics that may have the side effect of melting stone. If Aerion was truly back some twenty years in time, then that means he could prevent that great tragedy at Ashford!

Or Aerion is thrown 20 years back in time instead of dying after drinking wildfire

    Summary

"Apologies, Lord Lannister," Ser Duncan says, his voice steady, tone stern. Aerion has to, embarrassingly enough, go on his tiptoes to catch a look at his profile, and his face seems confident, not at all intimidated by the annoyed gaze Lannister throws him. "Prince Maekar was very clear that no one was to touch Prince Aerion without his explicit consent."

Lord Lannister makes a complicated face, as if he can't quite understand the words out of Ser Duncan's mouth. "Pardon me? No, Prince Maekar wants his son wed within the year. All of the Seven Kingdoms has heard it by now. If he expects no one to touch him, he might as well lock him in his chambers and lose the key!"

Aerion steps forward as white-hot anger flashes in his veins; he moves, intending to beat this puny little lord's insolence to a bloody pulp, but Ser Duncan throws an arm out and forcibly shoves Aerion back behind him, a warning growl on his lips.

Lord Lannister freezes. Aerion freezes. Ser Duncan stays relaxed.

    Summary

“Your time’s running out.” He glanced at the watch on his wrist. The watch hadn’t worked for at least a week, but it served to hurry him along.

“I’ll get straight to the point. I want you to date Aerion.” Daeron said it in a nonchalant way, which clashed completely with how Duncan raised his eyebrows. “Convince him to go to my uncle’s meeting.”

Or Duncan agrees to Daeron’s unlikely deal: to fake-date Aerion, his bratty younger brother. Amid sharp banter and unexpected feelings, the plan starts to unravel, and what began as an act might turn into something real.
