Summary
Link foolishly faced Ganondorf without informing the Sages, an action that led to his inevitable defeat, and yet, death was far from what the Demon King had planned for the Hero.
Hyrule had been forced into an era of Darkness with monsters roaming the land, kingdoms forced to pledge their allegiance to the Demon King.
While the Sages were busy trying to make do with their new life as well as learn of Link's whereabouts, Sidon, the newly crowned Zoran King and the Sage of Water, will come face-to-face to where his heart truly lies.

Summary
It has been a few years since peace had been restored throughout Hyrule upon the defeat of the Demon King. Now retired and given another chance in life, Link had decided he would start living the life that had been taken away from him, away from the hardships of countless battles.
For awhile now, Link has all but been fighting a different battle. The one final quest Link has for himself was to achieve a peace of mind, and to say goodbye to a love that can never be. Or, maybe that is what he tells himself.

The Sage of Water was no exception, he had just recently been crowned the new Zora King during Link's second world saving mission and was now tasked to be both a ruler to his subjects and a husband to his new wife, Queen Yona.

Five years after the defeat of Calamity Ganon, Hyrule is flourishing. The kingdoms are in harmony and work seamlessly together to ensure any potential threats will never rise again. Peace at last blankets the land.
But at the yearly celebratory banquet, Sidon can't help but notice Link isn't flourishing as everyone else is, and he knows that if someone doesn't do something about it, the Hero of Hyrule might not last. Yet despite Link's stubborn attitude and self-destructive tendencies, Sidon believes he can give Link what he needs to truly live again.
So long as Sidon keeps the beast lurking within himself under control.
