Summary
Kurapika breathes in sharply. A familiar briefcase, with an equally familiar jacket draped over its side, sits at the kid’s feet.
“Where did you get that?” He tries to keep his voice even, measured.
“This?” the boy says. If he senses the danger, he makes no show of it. “This is mine.”
Kurapika stares. He looks at the jacket, the briefcase. Looks back at the kid, at those familiar brown eyes.
Then it clicks.
“Leorio?” he says.
Leorio is affected by a de-ageing Nen ability. Kurapika has to help him.
Or: Kurapika learns why Leorio is the way he is, how to cook a decent meal for a twelve-year old, and maybe—just maybe—how to hold enough love for the both of them.

Summary
There was a time when blond ghosts would dance at the corner of his vision whenever he moved through crowded streets. There was a time when the loneliness and the worry sedimented as a constant pain inside his bones. Leorio sometimes thinks back to this time if he needs a reminder that the new distance is kinder, one that is measured in miles and longitudes only and that does not bring the turmoil of silence and not knowing.
(in which Kurapika needs to be apart from Leorio to be close to him again)

Summary
On his way out the frosted glass door, which shatters all over again at the lightest touch, Kurapika’s eyes land on a cheesy motivational poster that reads Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Why is it always a skydiver with a rainbow parachute in the mountains at sunset?

I specialize in turning sad into fluff. In this fic, I wanted to explore all the wonderful things Kurapika could accomplish if he gets help turning his life around, because he deserves so much better. I hope I've brightened someone's day!

Summary
The city is quiet from twelve stories up, and they sleep wrapped around each other with a fan that buzzes for the white noise more than the air circulation, and the routine washes the days in and out like a steady tide.
Then, one day, Kurapika wakes up with an aching jaw and spits a molar into his hand.

Summary
Seeing Kurapika there— drenched from the rain, swaying where he stands— stops Leorio in his tracks.
“Hi,” he says, blinking like a man who has no control of his eyes.
“Hi,” Kurapika says back, and collapses in the doorway.
