Danny had been making friends with his so called enemies for a while. Making friends with ghosts in general for longer. So it wouldn't hurt for him to have a few conversations with these ghosts before the Observants announced his monarchy, remind them he was just a guy who lived and didn't live just like they did. Some of these conversations were pretty normal - shoot the shit, get a bite to eat, maybe cause a bit of harmless mischief.
Some reminded HIM why he wanted so fervently to explain to everyone - including himself - that many ghosts were human too.

Nobuko Sneasler is 45 years old, works a diligent 9-5 at the nearest repair garage, and has just inherited her great-uncle's sprawling property - as well as his many junk cars - and one mysterious rusted out train engine. When she has spare time, she takes a screwdriver and a cup of coffee to the remains of the machine in an attempt to maybe at least neaten it up a bit. One day, she does a little more than just neaten it up.
