Rain pelted down on my back. If I was going to get to the bar, I had better hurry my ass up before I got completely drenched. Luckily, there was only a little bit left to go until I reached my destination.
I finally arrived at the bar, water dripping off my hair and down my back. Ken stood out front of the bar, pressed against the wall, finding whatever coverage he could, no doubt."Hey, Boss. Bad night to get wasted, huh?" Ken quipped. I could barely keep myself from looking away from his face and down his chest, exposed from the tight-fitting wet clothes he had on.
"Talk about it." I laughed, fighting back certain urges. Ken let me in, and I sat down on one of the barstools. I was still dripping, but the warm bar got me mostly dried off.

Summary
Tighnari is halfway through laughing out a witty response when Cyno stoops down, almost as if impulsively, and presses a kiss to the top of his head.
Tighnari freezes. Cyno must feel it, because he stops moving immediately. "Ah—Cyno—" Tighnari splutters, and Cyno lets out some kind of strangled hum. "What was that for?"
Cyno takes a slow breath and lets it hiss out through his teeth. "Um," he says awkwardly. "Good morning kiss?"
(Five times Cyno kisses Tighnari, and one time Tighnari returns the favor.)

Watching a movie evolves into something more, and both men realize that they had been harboring feelings for the other.

“It’s hard to explain, but there were these mushrooms. They were large, and the image is hazy, but I think they were blue and purple at the top? They released a fume of some sort that had adverse effects on us.”
“And you’re sure it was the mushrooms that did this?”
He nods. “I’m certain. Like I said, they release this fume or, I don’t know, maybe it’s spores, but I swear it has a scent. It happens if you touch them, maybe even if you get too close to them, and then it makes you feel…”
Light, hazy, filled with inexplicable desires you can’t seem to control.
