Summary
Kyia and Ayla move in together in republic city. One of them a waterbender from the Northpole, being send there for her wedding and marriage arranged by her parents, but she decides to avoid her unknown bethrothed and start her own life. The other one had been living in republic city most her adult life, a firebender going from one rough patch to the next. They don't know each other, but the rent in their crammed apartment is cheaper together, but will those completely different girls be able to get along? Especially now that a rebellion is brewing in the city...

We couldn't find many Amon or Tarrlok Fanfictions, so here we are now.
The events start about a year before book 1. This story is for a more mature audience. We will include trigger warnings. If you're uncomfortable with: mental health struggles, power imbalances, arranged marriages, sexual abuse/trauma or violence, maybe this story isn't for you. These themes will be important in the story.
This story is following an "Enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers" trope and is a slowburn.
