Daisy had agreed to take on the duty of watching Jon and ensuring his nocturnal habit of feeding stayed locked to dreams. Basira wouldn't admit it, but she hated the way Jon's eyes never closed. She could stand the heavy weight of being watched in the Archives themselves, but couldn't stand to suffer through Jon's more direct gaze at night.
Daisy eased into it, gladly accepting the role of Jon's night time watcher. As long as she could feel the soft glow of his gaze, she knew she was above ground.
