Summary
Killua is a twelve year old boy who has untouched trauma from his still ongoing childhood. He starts to discover how bad his life was on Kukuroo Mountain through continuous vivid nightmares.
Now he is taking a trip to Whale Island with Gon for some rest and relaxation before they head out to Yorknew city. However, Killua's nightmares are getting worse every night and are even starting to affect him during the day. He doesn't want to bother Gon with his struggles, so maybe, just maybe, if he ignores the nightmares, everything will be okay.This story takes place directly after the Heavens Arena arc and right before the start of the Greed Island arc! My goal was to make it fit the canonical timeline with just a few changes here and there!

Upon waking Killua is immediately aware of the strange sensation wrapping his sensitive body in a sort of cocoon of warmth. It feels as if tiny, little bugs are crawling along the very tip of his pale skin, breaking his flesh out in a furry of goosebumps. He's cold, but so hot at the same time.
The albino isn't any fool, he's familiar with this feeling, quite a little too acquainted from a very young age.
Sickness.
(Or Gon and Killua’s relationship take a head dive toward complicated when a certain someone comes down with bad bug.)
