Summary

In the Maze, hundreds of shades are trapped, plagued by their regret and bad memories. When Apo meets his untimely "demise," he finds himself bound between life and death with a new task of helping the Outsiders find peace, whether they're dead or not.

Two years after the war between the demons and humans, the people of Berk have been living in peace. But trouble brews in the Demon Kingdom when demons begin disappearing without a trace, and when Apo vanishes as well, Owen becomes determined to find his best friend before it's too late.
