And in the end, he did but not in the way he wanted.
The screams of the little children stopped, but instead, he had to helplessly watch Deadpool die. -

Others might have hated having an AI with a very dark sense of humor in their spacesuit at all times. But he didn't; he liked the company, liked knowing that this voice was a constant in his life. It was something that had been there since the beginning and would never leave him.
