Summary
John Watson has certainly been dealt a rough hand. And there are some choices he's made that aren't helping his state of mind. Neither is the alcohol.
Sherlock Holmes has been dealt a rough hand, as well. His choices, also not always the best. Neither are the substances.
Certainly, once a person has hit rock bottom, the only place left to go is up, right? With a lot of support from friends, family, and - eventually - each other, they'll do more than manage. They'll thrive.
