Park Jimin was a criminal, a member of the notorious group of thieves who went by the name "Pink Panther". He lived for the thrill of the chase, lived for the possibility of him getting caught, lived for everything that wasn't normal, lived for the moments that were jam-packed with events that his mind had no time to consider a thought.
But Jeon Jeongguk wasn’t a fan of his work. Him being a detective didn’t help at all. He only had to work around the aftermath of Jimin’s adrenaline sessions. Cleaning after Jimin’s damage wasn’t as glamorous.

Summary
Jimin came across a video on his timeline about how thoughts have frequencies. And, sometimes, people can perceive the same frequency. Jimin tests his theory the next day while in class.
"If you can read my mind, yell ‘Iron man is an asshole’” Jimin furrows his eyebrows and closes his eyes tight, thinking that it can help deliver the message better.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?!” Jungkook stands up in a flash and protests in frustration, causing everyone to turn their heads to the cause of the commotion. “Iron man is NOT an asshole! I disagree with you on a lot of things. But, this...THIS I can’t keep quiet about...THIS is a hate crime”

Where Jeon Jungkook can hear the thoughts of his college rival, Park Jimin. Jungkook aces his exams because of how loud Jimin’s thoughts are. He keeps it to himself until he can't anymore.

“Why are you so good at everything? Is there anything you can’t do?” Jimin whines frustratedly as he plops down beside the younger on the couch. Jungkook turns his head towards Jimin. The smile that was on his face seconds ago, gone. He licks his lips before he speaks.
“There’s actually one thing.”
Jimin crosses one leg over the other and rests his elbow on his knee. His face resting on his palm as he anticipates the one thing he can’t do. “Oh, what is it then?”
“Be with you.”
Jeon Jungkook, an heir to the throne in the Joseon Dynasty suddenly dreams of a certain blonde haired boy. The blonde haired boy being Park Jimin, an archaeologist in the year 2020.

“He’s nice.” Jungkook concedes. “Seems qualified, very passionate about his job.”
“What a waste. You’re too straight-minded. I thought he would’ve provoked something in you.” Jeongguk scoffs, taking another bite of lamb.
He did, but Jungkook wants to keep that to himself.
“Why?”
“Because he provoked something in me,” Jeongguk says, his smile turning a little dangerous. “I want him in my bed.”
