“So, how do I do it?” He asked softly.
“What, sleep? It’s- it’s easy, usually. You just close your eyes and relax, maybe think of happy things, and it just happens. There’s not much to it, angel, you just kind of let it take over.” He says and takes a hesitant step closer towards the bed. He watches Aziraphale lay down underneath the covers and shut his eyes gently.
“Could you stay? Until I fall asleep?”
It’s whispered so quietly that if not for Crowley’s demonic hearing, he may have just awkwardly said goodbye and gone home.
“Of course,” he whispers back and quickly sits down cross-legged next to the bed.
