Summary
Following the defeat of John Mercer, the Sarentu clan is struggling to find its identity without the Skypeople. Their impromptu leader, Tamtay, has taken it upon herself to lead the clans of the West to ally against the RDA forces.
Tamtay's best friend, and mentor, So'lek, has always been by her side without fail. After a night of shared stories and stolen glances, neither is sure where to go from here.
Will they decide to lean on each other after being alone for so long, or will they be each other's undoing?

I have to crane my head to the side to look up at him. He hesitates for a second before responding.
“It is So’lek.”
I blink.
“Soleek?”
“No. So’lek.”
“So’lik.”
“So’lek.”
“Okay. So-leh-ek.”
He exhales through his nose, slow and controlled. “You are fighting the name.”
“Am not!” I protest, waving my hands as I search for an excuse. “It’s just… hard to say.”
“It is gentle,” he says evenly. Then, after a beat, “You are not.”

A kinda faithful retelling of the video game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora that explores the relationship between So’lek and Tamtey. It sticks as close as canon as possible with my own creative liberties thrown in.

Dean was lying in bed, Sam sitting cross-legged next to him with a plate filled with half-eaten bread crust. And a crushed-up Coke can. An empty Skittle packet was sticking out of his pajama pocket.
Dean was quiet, too quiet. Usually, Dean would answer Sam. Ask Sam questions about why he thought the said character was the monster. But Dean didn't say anything while Sam spoke, Sam looked over to check if Dean was sleeping.

Summary
Tamtey's old nightmares are re-emerging the longer she washes her hands in blood, and she begins to wonder if fighting for Eywa is what she is truly meant to do. She learns to hate humans, falling trapped into the idea that it's what she's meant to do, but anyone who lives in hate for long enough will soon forget how to love.
So'lek has lived in hate for as long as he can remember. Not just hatred for humans, but hatred for himself. He believes in his heart that he has led Tamtey to this same inevitable future as he. He knows Tamtey is drawing close to the edge of the precipice, but he is not worried. He is terrified.
He knows Tamtey needs saving, but if he's the poison, how could he ever hope to be the cure?A So'lek x Tamtey fic (Buckle up)
