Summary
So we know that in the bad Post Covid timeline Butters becomes Vic Chaos; but how did he get from Point A to Point B?
Butters Stotch is a boy who is kind to a fault: he wishes to do right by everyone, and he's extremely caring of others (which many consider to be gay around these parts; one could argue his misogynistic side doesn't help with his case either), and he ALWAYS listens to his parents. When Stephen and Linda Stotch tell Butters about a movie they're going to, Butters quickly learns he won't be able to join them and that he will spend the night alone. However, as one night becomes two, that two becomes weeks, and the months blur into years, he is left to his own devices (in both a literal and metaphorical sense) to survive. No matter how difficult it becomes or how long it takes, he will only leave when he is given the word by his parents, even if it means growing up with screens for guardians and becoming one with the virtual renaissance he encounters.
