A summer job. Soobin’s summer lifeguard job, twelve or so weeks, at a town not far from his own which he’s never heard of; a limited number of days spent perched at the top of a tower and viewing the sloshing water below.
Perched at the top of a tower, viewing the eyes of the pink haired boy swimming below, whose smile never quite passes his eyes, whose silver gaze never leaves his.
Soobin has never felt so far away from home.

Summary
Soobin was in a cocoon and didn't care to emerge as a butterfly, didn't do well with change, so he lived his adventures through theories and formulas- found in between hard and paperback covers. Yeonjun carried plastic rhinestones in his pencil case, kissed his best friend to sleep and wrote essays that mocked everything Soobin had ever loved. They didn't get along. But neither did "life" and "unscarred" on the opposite sides of the same equal sign, yet it was a battle known by both of them- tries of balancing it out.
One's secret became the other's tragedy, and then it was unstoppable, crashing both worlds together with attempts of not saying too much, pulling back and forth. Still, one can only regret what they never chose to do, and Soobin got to learn it with his own heart at the line.

Summary
The end of exams brings about the reveal of student voted superlatives on the uni's unofficial gossip Twitter account and Soobin discovers that he and Yeonjun won Cutest Couple. The only problem is they aren't *actually* a couple, just childhood besties who grew up together in their little beach town. So what if Yeonjun is extra snuggly with him and Soobin thinks his hyung smells really good? They're *just* friends and he's grown tired of people mistaking them for something more.
Then Yeonjun makes a radical proposal: the two of them date, *really* date, if for no other reason than the ability to tell people they tried and it didn't work. Soobin goes along, deciding it can't be any more annoying than dealing with all the comments they get (not to mention he's admittedly been single for a while and it would be nice to have a partner again, even briefly).
Cue the magic of summer and all it entails: fireworks in the sky and behind his eyes when he kisses Yeonjun, waves of the ocean and of pleasure as they cross lines friends shouldn't cross. There's bonfires and barbecues, short shorts and popsicles, and along the way Soobin realizes that mixing love and friendship is as dangerous as diving during high tide...

Summary
There's nothing Soobin despises more than working at Kang's Discs. Sure, the paycheck is nice and it gives him something to do in the afternoons, but the rock music blasting through the shitty speakers all day keeps him on edge at all times. Add Yeonjun to the mix - a rock enthusiast with black hair and green highlights that goes to the store everyday and leaves chewed gums underneath the shelves with his favorite albums - and you have the perfect combination to make Soobin turn into a ticking time bomb. The explosion was inevitable, expected even.
