He hates me, he absolutely hates me now. Why did I have to say that! I don’t even believe it. Yosuke was curled up into a corner of the tent, unable to sleep after the Kanji situation. He was rightfully reprimanded by Yu and he knew it, but his anxiety was determined to make sure he never forgot it. Yu hates me all because I couldn’t keep my damn mouth shut. Maybe Chie is right and I should just stop talking entirely. Yeah, just be quiet and watch and listen.
A soft whimper escaped him as he blinked back tears. King Moron would love to catch him right now, whining and bitching like the lousy wimp he was. He stilled as someone in the tent moved.

When he wakes up again, it’s to a whole group of people, most of which are noisy and loud.
He lies there in the soft blanket for a minute, taking in the details of a hospital room, and noting the IV going into the crook of his elbow. He attempts to sit up, wincing when it pulls at the mess of his chest.
There’s an odd weight on one of his legs, and there’s a fluffy...creature resting on it, curled into his side. It’s warm.
The room goes quiet all of a sudden, and he finds himself staring back at an odd assortment of people.

Summary
This was a stupid idea. It had always been a stupid idea, from the moment that Hinata had proposed it at one of the interminable team sleepovers back in Miyagi, to the moment that Kei had signed the lease. It was a stupid idea now, as Kei moved himself into the apartment he was soon to be sharing with two of the most irritating people on the planet, his boyfriend, and Yachi, who was actually an angel and didn’t deserve any of this.
But—and this was the sticking point—Kei was brutally aware of the fact that he had no-one but himself to blame for his current situation. He’d gone along with the whole thing with only mild complaining.
(Or: Tsukishima Kei shares an apartment with his teammates from Karasuno as a freshman in college. He doesn’t hate it.)
