Gerard Way has been happily married for over 10 years to the main character. One day, he falls down the stairs and he wakes up in 2007 with no fame? That can't be right, he's Gerard Way for Christ's sake.
Turns out MCR doesn't exist in this universe. But his wife is still quite popular. In fact, she's the new star and has been invited to the Projekt Revolution Tour. She's also the only person Gerard knows who has the ability to time-travel. What the kicker is, is that she doesn't even remember him in this universe.
What's a man to do but obviously find a way back into her life... via any means necessary. Even by becoming her bodyguard, perhaps...
