It might be Dazai who Atsushi was currently in the presence of, but he got the distinct and dreaded feeling that it wasn’t any Dazai he knew. The signs were unmissable, given the abrupt youth to his appearance, the startlingly cold gaze he had pinned on Atsushi that Dazai had never so much as gotten close to watching him like before, and that aura of his.

And it starts with being wound up living with Dazai for his safety.
