Summary
Cloud collapses backwards onto the bed as Sephiroth releases him, his lover finally content with the passionate, almost jealous way in which he has so obviously staked a claim on his boyfriend. The sudden absence of Sephiroth’s delicious body heat leaves Cloud’s own lean form shivering on the bed sheets, and his attention is quickly drawn back to the still form waiting at the edge of the bed.
His features are so different from Sephiroth's, so diametrically opposed in nature that it creates a jarring feeling of disorientation. But as the quiet figure shifts again, bringing his face closer to Cloud's and fixing him with a reverent, almost worshipful gaze, that sense of confusion gives way to a flood of familiarity and warm affection.
Zack. He lets out a small, trembling breath through his wavering smile, clearly nervous and seeming ready to flee at a moment’s notice, as though they might demand that he leave at any instant.
Cloud huffs out a quiet laugh, unable to help himself from finding the usually confident SOLDIER’s nervousness endearing. If Cloud and Sephiroth didn’t want for Zack to be here, then they wouldn’t have gone through the trouble to set up this arrangement, now would they?

Summary
For many years, the tiny kingdom of Nibelheim has been able to maintain a quiet peace with the Shinra Empire. But when the General of the SOLDIER Army of Shinra, the famed Silver Demon, overthrows the emperor with a successful military coup, he unwittingly renews an old tributary agreement that sees the second prince of Nibelheim sent to the empire as its new consort. And it is only during the wedding night does Cloud find out that Sephiroth never wanted him there in the first place.

Summary
The planet has returned Sephiroth to life as a completely unenhanced human. No longer a demi-god, Sephiroth struggles to adapt to life as a human. Cloud, on the other hand, struggles to adapt to life with Sephrioth.
As age-old grudges and long-lost romance bubble under the surface, will this new life give them both a chance at happiness? Or will it just tear them apart?
