Now he was closer to Lando, he was hit by how different he seemed in person than on TV. On TV, he was a hero, a god almost. They all were - all the drivers. Logan hated it when Oscar said it, thought it was a bit overblown and trite, but it was true. Gladiators who chose, again and again, every day, to re-enter the arena and fight.
But here, in the uncharacteristic sun of Silverstone, Lando was just a man. A soft one, at that, slightly shorter than Oscar would've guessed. His curly hair was mussed from wearing a helmet and balaclava, and he had one hand held up to shield his eyes from the sun. He was still squinting, anyway, face screwed up. Oscar felt that maybe these imperfections made him look even better. Like brush strokes on a painting - a reminder that it was real.

“Touya-nii!” The voice says and it’s undoubtedly the voice of 5 year-old Todoroki Shouto. The voice of his little brother.
“Touya?” Hawks questions as he tries to piece together why the name is being said.
“Touya-nii, you’re so big!” Shouto says in awe as he hurries over to where Dabi’s standing.
Dabi’s legs give out. He’s overwhelmed by the image of little Shouto running to him. The tousled red and white hair, his ice blue and gray eyes, the soft skin of his unscarred face. It nullifies Dabi. Suddenly, he can only remember being Touya.AKA a fic where Shouto gets hit by a de-aging quirk and Endeavor charges Hawks with watching him until the quirk wears off, featuring Hawks' terrible child caring skills (thanks to his own terrible childhood) and a Todoroki sibling reunion

Apropos nothing, Hawks asks, “Did you know that when you’re not acting clinically insane—“
“Fuckin’ rude. I might be clinically insane, you don’t know.”
Dabi isn't. He's clinically traumatized and probably bipolar, but Hawks doubts he’s actually psychotic, so he continues, “You actually remind me a concerning amount of some of the Hero students I know now.”
It’s not some, it’s one, but given his parentage and the Villain’s animosity, being vague is the best course of action.
Dabi laughs like Hawks is joking, and the Hero wishes he was. “Maybe you’re the one that’s clinically insane.”
or: hawks is spending time with a certain ua student who is just too damn similar to a certain villain
