It is so captivating, satisfying even, to watch Rafayel's face quirk with curious doubt—then drain of all color—then flush the deepest red you’ve ever seen, all the way up to the tips of his ears. He clears his throat, sandwiching the photo in his hands, protecting it from prying eyes or wayward camera lenses, and his voice drops to a hiss. “What is this?”
“What does it look like?” You shrug, a curl falling into your eyes, and you playfully tuck it behind your ear. “It’s a boudoir photo. Duh.”
