Summary
It’s a slow day at Kong, and for Murdoc, drinking alone in his Winnebago isn’t cutting it. To stave off the boredom, Murdoc looks for an excuse to pester 2D. When the copious amounts of alcohol he’s consumed take effect, his day gets notably more interesting, though definitely not in a way that he’d intended.

“Oh,” said Stuart. He really did look young. Maybe eighteen, nineteen. He’d probably be out of the business by twenty. He didn’t look like someone who needed to do this; he looked like a kid experimenting, trying on boots too big for him. “You feeling alright?” asked Stuart. “You seem a little, uh. Bad.”
‘Bad’. Murdoc rolled his eyes. “I’ll be fine once you give me my fix.” He made a come-hither gesture with his fingers. “C’mon, give it.”
“Er, you have to pay me first. That’s how this works.”
Murdoc needs a fix. Coincidentally, Stuart is trying his hand at dealing. They come to an arrangement.

Summary
2D's door is closed, but it's not locked, so Murdoc walks in. 2D is lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling. Well, he likes staring at nothing for hours with not a thought in his head, doesn't he? Perfectly content that way.
"Let's have a bit of fun," Murdoc says cheerfully, going over to the bed.
2D's head rolls towards him just slightly, enough to suggest the invisible pupils in those whiteless black eyes might now be directed his way. "Not really in the mood," he says tonelessly, and looks back at the ceiling again.

Murdoc makes a mistake. Then he tries to fix it, in his own inimitable way.
