It wasn't that Eddie didn't want to see him again, he did. He really, really, did. Eddie hadn't been able to stop thinking about him since that night.
They didn't do anything that night but talk, but Evan "Buck" Buckley—as he later revealed, three beers into the evening—had been a permanent fixture of his dreams ever since.
So, it wasn't a matter of not wanting to see him again. It was more the matter that whatever bravery that allowed him to step through the doors of Inferno those three long weeks ago, had long since scurried out of his chest and hid away in a hole he'd yet to find.
Instead, Eddie buried himself into settling in Los Angeles. In the three weeks since he'd first met Buck, Eddie had finally gotten Chris enrolled in school—it wasn't the school he wanted but it would work until he could decipher the paperwork sitting on his dresser.
He'd finally closed on the house he'd bought for him and his son. A silent promise to Chris that Los Angeles would be home forever.
And the days quickly ticked by, and before he knew it, the pages of the calendar had ripped away to his first day at the Los Angeles Fire Department, Station 118.

“What? Paint me?” At first, Stiles thinks that maybe Derek wants to paint a portrait of him, which is hella freaking weird, but then, judging by the heat he sees in his eyes, he knows that’s not exactly what Derek has in mind. Okay, so the guy is hot, talented, rude, and probably a little insane. Stiles is really regretting not running background checks on all of the building’s tenants before moving in. Laura Hale offered him such a good deal, he should have known there was a catch.
Like having to live underneath her obscenely hot brother who gets stoned and paints all night and says ridiculous things to the half-naked cop that barges into his apartment unannounced in the middle of the night.
