Daryl had been best friends with Rick since the beginning, and when university started and they were sharing dorms? Those feelings grew even stronger...to the point he can't keep this secret bottled up forever. Daryl knew he had to confess at some point, but how could he do that if someone might already have stolen Rick's heart?
He had always knew he was different from other people. He had different preferences, and he still hadn't admit this to anyone, even if he didn't want to admit this himself, for once...he was actually afraid of what people may think of him. Especially Rick. There is no doubt that maybe he won't get the ending he dreamt to have, not with obstacles constantly coming to his ways.
He doesn't even know if Rick feels the same way.

Relationships isn't an issue in being a celebrity, but not every love is accepted or seen as the same. It's a heavy burden to carry, especially if you're falling in love with your own best friend.
That's what Rick felt— the first time these feelings sparked since Lori died. And Daryl actually loves him back more than he wants to admit.
They are forced to hide their identities, as both are consumed by judgement— just like scripts scattered across the ground. Some can be recovered, some cannot.
Maybe someday, they could at last open up— and love each other without having to be afraid of anything.

The ice spreading down Dean’s spine makes him shiver.
“I suppose you could say I’m your guardian angel,” the man murmurs. His breath fogs pale between them. All of him is unnaturally warm, like Dean’s touching somebody with the sun sewn up beneath their skin. “I have known you, Dean Winchester, for a very long time.”

Summary
A failed investigation left Daryl Dixon in the hospital and Detective Rick Grimes carrying more guilt than he knows what to do with.
Nearly a year later, after little more than sporadic check-ins, a chance relationship between their best friends keeps drawing them together. Their strange friendship leaves both men questioning exactly what they want— and how much they are willing to lose for it.

Dr. Novak spends the rest of the class going over boring details like the exam schedule, the topics they'll be covering each week. The attendance policy. A repetition of his earlier rule about no-extra-credit.
Dean barely registers any of it, even sitting in his front and center seat of the lecture hall.
"Proper name, place name, backstory stuff" is all he hears for the entirety of however-long the professor keeps droning on about the syllabus with that deep, gravelly, mature voice.
(TLDR: Destiel age-gap professor/student fanfic with more plot than necessary, anatomy and physiology, and a quite a bit of horniness. Yay!)

Summary
Season 11.
Negan and Daryl are on a mission led by Maggie. The goal: get supplies. After barely making it out of the subway tunnels, the group ends up in the woods, and right into an ambush.
Separated from the others, Negan and Daryl find themselves captured by the Reapers. Forced to their knees at gunpoint, Negan tells a lie to save them both.
Whether that lie actually saves them, or drags them deeper into danger, is hard to say. Either way, they have to stick to it. And the longer they play along, the harder it gets to tell where the lie ends and something real begins.
