    To say he was shocked would be the understatement of the whole history as he met with a sight he never thought he would see. His 'badass' girlfriend, Lyric H. Caddle, and his siblings sitting in his living room.

    They needed something, desperately, from him. A helping hand. From Red Hood. To help find Batman. The man with the MO to stop himself from murdering a bad man but lets him leave a permanent scar on his hand, in his mind, heart and soul.
    They wanted him to save the man he wasn't seeing eye to eye since that night in the apartment near Crime Alley.

    Jason Todd hasn't seen anyone from his adoptive family since... The accident. But Red Hood surely did and he knew what the birds intended for him.

    They would try to mend what's not broken. Anymore.

    Lyric had seen Jason, her 'angel' boyfriend she loved so dearly, in his most vulnerable times. She was there when he was loosing himself to the power of Pit, when he was bleeding both inside and out, when he formed his own crime ring and when he burned it all to its Ashes. She was always there.

    Then she lifted her head and her eyes landed on him. In the next moment, she was up and clinging to his leather jacket as if it were a lifeline. There was a desperation in her eyes as she started pleading. “Please. I need your help! They took my little sister. Please, she’s only seven years old. I- I couldn’t stop them. Please! I can’t lose her. I can’t!”

    Green filled his gaze. What kind of scum kidnapped a defenseless seven-year-old. He took a deep steadying breath and gently put his hands on her shoulders. “Easy, easy. Take a breath. What’s your name? Tell me what happened. Who took your sister?”

    Jason took her appearance in. She had a big forming bruise on her cheek and there was a wound on her temple, the blood already dried. Her knuckles were bloody, and Jason was sure that whatever had happened, she had not gone down without a fight.

     

    Or: I decided Jason deserves happiness, so I'm giving him a girlfriend and a little happy virus to shower him in affection.
