Yoo Joonghyuk frowns at him for even daring to question him. “By watching.”

The routine in the First Murim is a simple one. Yoo Joonghyuk trains under the Breaking the Sky Sword Saint, eats dumplings, cleans the courtyard, and bends Kim Dokja over whenever he gets the chance.
Predictably, Kim Dokja himself is quite amenable to this arrangement.

Kim Dokja arrogantly juts out his chin, then goes still. “Huh.” He says, wide-eyed. “Actually, I have no idea.”
“You–” When Yoo Joonghyuk turns around to accost him, the ghost is already gone.
Kim Dokja was annoying. In the media, ghosts were made up to be uncanny, inconceivable entities, but when things got difficult, Kim Dokja just disappeared. He must’ve had it easy that way.
Yoo Joonghyuk grumbles under his breath and pretends that the old shirt slapping wetly against the washing machine door was Kim Dokja’s face.
In a world full of nonsensical things such as soulmates, Yoo Joonghyuk is the one poor soul who gets to experience the mystic grievances of a ghost roommate haunting his new apartment.
