Henry blinks at them. “Mom. Mom...Mom,” he says, eyes flickering from Emma to Regina to his future mothers, who are still holding hands. “Mom. Something you want to tell me?”
“They’re from the future,” Regina says.
“They’re married,” Emma says. “To each other.” She’s still standing in the middle of the room, utterly discombobulated.
Henry rolls his eyes. “Duh. Can I go get my Playstation?”

“Do you think she's pretty?”
“Yes. I think she’s really… pretty,” Emma coughs. Hopes she can pass off her tomato face as a heat symptom.
“And smart?”
“Mhmm.”
“And nice?”
“Kid, if this is your way of interrogating me for your mom’s friendship, then yes. I think she's super pretty, super smart, and super nice. Sometimes,” Emma adds as an afterthought. Because Regina can still be a Super Bitch. “She’s also a total MILF, so there's that.”
Henry wrinkles his nose. “What's a MILF?”
“Madame I’d like to friend.”
“Oh.”
Or -- In the dead of night, Emma stumbles across a lonely boy and his mom. The neighbor AU.

Summary
These are a group of (not-so-short) stories of Agents Romanoff and Hill, all set before 2012 (which was the first Avengers film), in the years when S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Helicarrier very much existed, with Fury commanding the flying fortress. Each story begins with a mission of some kind and then goes on to its aftermath, and every plot brings Romanoff and Hill closer. Even though this series follows their relationship, the plot of each story is independent and can be understood without reading any of the previous stories. Hope you enjoy!
