Anakin remembers going on another routine mission.
Then, he wakes up in the Temple's Halls of Healing with grave, lasting injuries and no recollection of what has happened. Obi-Wan won't explain anything. His former Master is sick with guilt and behaves strangely, but how bad could it have really been?
Perhaps there's a reason why Obi-Wan doesn't want him to remember. And Anakin won't know until it's too late.

Summary
Obi-Wan pressed his top teeth into the rim of the glass, and laughed, actually laughed, and Anakin felt as if he’d committed some egregious faux pas. Well, as egregious as one could be held accountable for in plainclothes. His cheeks reddened with heat, and then Obi-Wan murmured something to himself, almost wistful, and Anakin felt as if he hadn’t been the intended audience, with the way the words seemed to slow everything around him.
“Oh, please- calling me ‘master’, like it doesn’t turn you on just to say it.”

Obi-Wan seems to encourage everyone around him to embrace his title. Well, everyone except for Anakin.

The sunshine is to blame for the way Obi-Wan's cheeks turn a ruddy red. That’s it. “Why in the world are you still reading the fanfics?” he asks faintly, now going from “trying not to feel like a relic” to “trying not to sound like an old prude.”
“Enrichment,” Anakin replies, utterly without shame, popping the last bite of toast into his mouth.
Obi-Wan isn't sure whether to be horrified or deeply, deeply touched.
