Knocked off balance, Jaime caught himself on the edge of the counter and the center of Bart’s back, hand bunched in the t-shirt that had actually been Jaime's once upon a time, and was now the only article of clothing Bart still had on. Jaime huffed a laugh into the column of Bart’s throat as he recovered, pressing a light kiss just below the hinge of Bart’s jaw.
“Oh, hi,” he teased without lifting his mouth away, fingers skimming up the underside of Bart’s thigh to his ass and squeezing. “Did you want something?”
Each word fizzled against Bart’s skin, the back of his neck and the breadth of his shoulders buzzing. He ducked away from Jaime’s mouth with a grin, cradling the back of Jaime’s head as he gazed intently down at him. “I thought you had a point you were trying to demonstrate.”

“That’s not what—” Will huffed out a laugh, staring up at the ceiling. He turned around. “I go to gay bars, okay? It’s—just, not your scene. Obviously.”
Will’s face twisted on that last word, half a grimace. For some reason, it was a punch to the gut. Something defiant rose up within Mike.
“Well, do you have to be a card-carrying member to get in, or something?” he asked, eyebrows raised. “I mean, a bar’s a bar, right?”
Will’s face broke into an uncertain smile. “Mike…”
“I came here for the Will Byers New York experience,” Mike said, earnestly. “Am I going to get it, or what?”
Mike visits Will in New York and realizes a few things.

Featuring closet hookups, hickeys, really good cuddles in the midst of all the sexual experimentation, sneaking around, a canon-typical amount of boys crying, the Painting Lie!!!, conversations about feelings that don’t actually address any of the important feelings (until they do, and then ohh boy), and the happy ending that they goddamn deserved.
Takes place during the eighteen month time gap before they all graduate, then continues past the ending of the finale.
