Summary

Ya juntos en Corvo Bianco, Yennefer y Geralt se adaptan a la tranquila vida en el retiro, no mas dramas cortesanos y posibles fines del mundo de los cuales preocuparse.
Ciri que ha estado viajando en el continente como bruja vagabunda manda un cuervo a Yennefer anunciando que regresará al viñedo después de un año sin ver a sus padres, su llegada coincide con las celebraciones a la Dama del Lago de Toussaint, Ciri y Yennefer arrastran al brujo a las fiestas en la ciudad rio abajo, a pesar de las negativas iniciales de Geralt los tres se divierten mucho en el festival y la curiosidad de Ciri los lleva hasta la ofrenda anual de los caballeros en las orillas del lago.
Semanas después el festival se ha acabado, pero la Dama del Lago tiene un ultimo regalo para Geralt, su mas valiente caballero y espera que le guste.
